STUDIO 1 had their hands full during Subsea Expo with the assembly and breakdown of five stands for UK and Norwegian based clients. In particular, Studio 1 were contracted by a couple of Norwegian based companies to design, create and manufacture unique exhibition stands suitable for displaying their subsea products, with the capacity to demonstrate their services. Our designs utilised wall recessed LED screens running media, 360 degree LED swivel display lighting, braced display plinths holding up to 250kgs, aluminium roof trusses with LED directional lighting, CNC machined support structures and panels sprayed satin white. We had towers with doorways, storage areas, seating, coffee area, concealed electric master hubs, we even had integrated smart phone charge points for exhibitors and visitors.
Alluminium and wood were the 2 key materials used in the stands for WeSubsea and Imenco, where products were exhibited on seamless white bespoke built plinths. The overall result was very minimalist and created a 'corporate stage' for a diverse range of unique subsea products.
Nicholas, STUDIO 1 Multi Media Designer, commented ... "the project gave us the chance to demonstrate our bespoke exhibition design capabilities, multi-media expertise, fabrication knowledge, CNC knowledge and onsite handling experience."
STUDIO 1 were also contracted stand and space management, liaising with the event organisers and making sure that the pre-show stand assembly went to plan. We handled full risk assessment and pre-show build requirements including fire materials compliance.
Exhibition stand breakdown after the event was also in our contract, where we carefully disassembled each display, hand packed and delivered to the clients facility for safe storage.

We worked all three pre-show assembly days and both post show breakdown days, five days in total, it was a great effort from everyone.
