STUDIO 1 Aberdeen was approached by Paradigm to assist with the 3d illustration of oil industry downhole tools for a software project. Paradigm were primarily looking for a technical illustrator / graphic artist that could produce high quality 3D graphics in (.SVG) format for incorporation into a web / desktop software application.
The project involved producing 98 illustrations in total, rendered with an agreed suit of corporate and material colours. When incorporated into the desktop software application, the corporate 'green' colour of selected tools will be an editable field that can be edited by the user, to their own corporate colours. The project including illustration, associated support and final editing spanned a period of four months.
The final desktop software application was written by software engineers at Paradigm.
